This will be the shortest & sweetest post yet ….
It’s Cheltenham Eve boys and girls, so make sure you are all tucked up in bed early tonight ….. In fact, scrap that, you’ll not be able to sleep anyway with the excitement.
The day is nearly here, so as we all put the finishing touches to our pre-Cheltenham selections remember one thing …….. Losing is not an option, So pick the Winners !!!!
The fabulous four are all primed and ready to deliver the goods over the next few days (well maybe, if they develop the hardy characteristics of a polar bear !) … so all there is left to do is shout the equine heroes up the Cheltenham hill.
Kicking us off tomorrow is my personal favourite, My Tent or Yours (or ‘The Mighty Tent’) and IF he wins, wherever you are in the world (do you know people from The Dominican Republic – I know who you are !!! – The US, Turkey – I know who you are too !!!, Austria & France to name but a few countries have read the blog) you will all hear my shouting, screaming and cheering as hopefully AP boots the beautiful beast up the hill to glory in the very first race.
If you’ve invested, whether it be on the Million Pound Punt Selections (Discounted by 90%), or on your own selections, I wish you the best of luck as we enter battle with those bookie chaps.
Remember, at the end of the day, this is a sport….and at the centre of the sport are these wonderful animals who run for our pleasure, and if your horse loses, don’t curse it, don’t call it names, don’t wish it any harm…they are animals and as long as they all come home safe and sound that’s all that matters…if we win a couple of shillings on the back of them, then that’s just a bonus !!
As I pack my thermals and head off to the ‘Battle Bunker In Bourton’ which will be home for the next few days, I’ll give you a full run down of the selections which may or may not prove to be profitable – there will be others backed on the day but at the moment I haven’t got a clue what they’ll be, so here goes –

So That’s it …. We’re all one our jolly journey to the Cotswold’s for the next 4 days …. If you’re going, I might see you there, if you’re not, enjoy it on the telly. I’ll try and update my fortunes over the next four days however the t’interweb connections in that neck of the woods are not great, so if anyone can point me in the direction of an internet café or something similar that would be great.
Enjoy the racing …… and Thanks again for reading !!!
